Only adding 10 more games to his tally following a series of knocks over the past two years, the 24-year-old, who was drafted at pick five alongside twin Jake, collided with a teammate before the season break and hasn't trained with the main group since.
In a positive sign, Melbourne's head of football Josh Mahoney said the former Gold Coast player is improving, but the Demons will take a cautious approach.

"As a club we are respecting Kade's history of concussions and being very cautious with his rehabilitation," Mahoney told the Herald Sun.
"His program has been developed by medical experts and he is showing signs of improvement.
"At this stage we have not put a time frame on his recovery and subsequent return to football."
At North Melbourne, fellow Tasmanian Ben Brown sent shivers down the spines of Kangaroos faithful, leaving training early on Thursday with a calf complaint.
Rarely battling injury, Brown has played all 22 matches every year since 2014.
