"If I keep doing the right things on my days off and keep playing matches like this, then these results will come and I will be able to be playing at those ATP Tour-level events more often," he said last week.
Other Australians whose ranking benefited from their Apple Isle visit included Dayne Kelly who rose 13 places to No. 336, Jacob Grills (14 to No.435), Blake Mott (34 to No. 448), Calum Puttergill (41 to No. 670) and up-and-coming talent Dane Sweeny, who gained a massive 132 places to No. 769.
