The club began celebrating the day a few years ago after noticing there were no events of this kind in Launceston.
International Women's Day committee chair Jo Hart said the event was a good opportunity for the club to provide mentorship opportunities to young female leaders in the community.
"It provides them with an opportunity to see how some of our wonderful speakers have taken the opportunity to manage risk, and have dealt with things with courage," she said.
In other news:
Female year 10 students from at least three schools in the Tamar Valley will be in attendance.
Ms Hart said the event had been moved to a bigger venue this year because it sold out last year.
"Last year the event sold out, this year we have moved to a bigger venue and we are really looking forward to seeing the women and men of Launceston at the event."
The event will take place on March 4 and all proceeds will go to the Launceston Benevolent Society.
