A Supreme Court jury in Launceston found a Northern Tasmanian man guilty of maintaining a sexual relationship with a person under the age of 17. A guilty verdict in the trial of Kevin Peter McIntosh, 60, was returned Monday after hearing evidence last week from several witnesses including a doctor with special knowledge of the impact of sexual abuse and child behaviour. Justice Robert Pearce heard a plea in mitigation from defence counsel James Oxley but adjourned sentencing until February 19, at 4.15pm.
