Organiser Jesse Higgs said everything was on track for Thursday's pre-party.

"We liken this to the final exam. Graduation's coming up, but we're studying hard," he said.

"Honestly the whole crew are just on top of everything.

"It's the neatest, the cleanest, the greenest, the biggest and the best paddock that we've ever done."

Mr Higgs said though it was a very similar set up to last year's event, there were a few little surprises scattered around the site for punters to come across.

"We call them easter eggs because you never know when you're going to find one," he said.

"We've got some fun little new aspects coming along, like we've got the tissue box - it's actually choir karaoke. A little shipping container is all decked out.

"We're doing Secret Creek again as well, which is a little off-site adventure for some lucky punters.

"We take some people out to a secret location up in the hills and they get some special guest treatment and to see one of the acts on the lineup to a little intimate performance."

Mr Higgs said there was a great vibe on Wednesday, with organisers all in a good mood.

"There's so much camaraderie, we've all been doing this together for so many years," he said. "I feel like we're all very present, and no one is taking each other for granted."

Mr Higgs said he was keen to see this year's crowds, with more people expected at White Hills to celebrate the end of an era.

"We can't wait to see everyone," he said.
