A guard who spent three years in the US with Southwest Baptist and one year at Missouri Baptist with fellow Tasmanian Callum Barker, Woodfall returned home in 2019, playing five games for the North-West Thunder.
The 23-year-old took out the State League basketball MVP in November before leading Launceston Lightning to the title alongside highly-touted teen Sejr Deans.

Woodfall will join a Pirates side that has finished 10th in the 15-team Queensland Basketball League for the last two years with a 7-11 and 8-10 record.
This year's outfit will be coached by American Jeremy Kendle, who has represented Brisbane Bullets in the NBL.
Woodfall's move to the opposite end of the country comes as he studies medicine at the University of Queensland.
