After only three members assisted the tournament last year, New Horizons acting chief executive Edwina Dick said it was great to see about 15 members take up the racket this year.
She said the "rave reviews" given by last year's volunteers spurred on their fellow members to give volunteering a go.
"We were thrilled to be asked back again this year," Ms Dick said.
"We're very happy because members come down here, all the volunteers from Tennis Tasmania just take them under their wing and treat them like they're part of the family."
The volunteers participated in ushering, working the gates as well as changing towels and getting fresh beverages for players.
New Horizons volunteer Jacquie Spencer helped out in 2019 and said was keen to be out in the good weather helping again this year.
"I really enjoyed it last year, it's just a great bunch of people that I've met and I had a great time."
Ms Dick said Ms Spencer was an amazing example of the athletes and volunteers helping at the tournament.
"We're a sport and recreation club, but our slogan really is 'building inclusive communities' through sport and recreation," she said.
"We're very much about the people ... we're just giving people the opportunities to do what everyone else gets to do."
After expanding to Hobart last year, members from New Horizons in the South will also be participating in the Hobart International.
Ms Dick said New Horizons members were big tennis players, with the organisation hosting tennis groups weekly.
