Alongside being the club's members and sponsors day, the club's open air screening of The Secret Life of Pets 2 on February 15 will also act as a fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy Tasmania, a not-for-profit that supports those living with the genetic neuromuscular disorder and their families.
Club president Corey Martin said after a successful screening of The Incredibles 2 last year to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation, he hoped this year's open air cinema would be another successful day.
"We hope people come along for a fun day that raises awareness and funds for an important cause," he said.
"This year we hope to raise about $2000 for Muscular Dystrophy Tasmania, on par with last year's event."
Hadspen's Premier League team will take on Longford from 11am, before a female exhibition Twenty20.
During the matches, woodfired pizza will be available and the bar will be open.
Further festivities will start from 5.30pm, with live music and food from Festivale favourites Sailor Food Truck, JG's Hotdogs, a barbecue, coffee van, ice cream and popcorn.
Children will get unlimited access to the giant slide, jumping castle, games, zorb balls and face painting for $15.
The film will be shown on the big screen about 8.30pm.
The Secret Life of Pets 2 picks up where the first film leaves off, with terrier Max facing new challenges now that his owner, Katie, has a baby.
Mr Martin expected hundreds of people to turn out in support of the event.
