The weekend features a number of riding-related activities, ranging from whip-cracking to a striplings challenge.
TMCA secretary Danza Hardwicke said the event, which is in its 33rd year, was a great success every year.
"It's a family event so mum, dad and the kids can all bring their horses and learn something different," Ms Hardwicke said.
The event kicks off on Friday night with a striplings challenge and novice whip crack competition.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy a series of novelty events such as billy can races.
"On Saturday, the championship is the main focus ... which is ran over four different phases: a whip crack phase, a handy stock horse phase, a cross country and cattle handling section," Ms Hardwicke said.
"The scores are all added up and that gives you the winner at the end."
More than 20 people are entered in both the senior and junior sections in the championship events.
Ms Hardwicke said no matter the weather, the riders will be competing.
"It'll go ahead, rain, hail or shine," she said.
