Ex-Clarence gun Jessica Wuetschner was working at the Port of Brisbane on January 19 when lightning hit a pole she was holding and sent "white bolts" up her arms.
The 27-year-old Lion was admitted to hospital and had a week off before returning to training on Thursday.
"I'm feeling as lot better this week - last week was a bit of a blur and trying to take in all the different emotions I was getting," the former Tassie Roar cricketer said.
"[The feeling] is sort of like lucky to be alive and still be here, but also still scared about the fact that I could have not been here.

"I'm quite an anxious person generally so that sort of hit me in the guts and then I felt a bit of anger towards why was I there in the first place in the storm, but at the end of the day it seemed like it came out of nowhere.
"You never know what's going to happen so now I'm just really grateful."
Wuetschner is eager to get "back to normality".
"I spent a week with my mum up here which isn't normal for me, she lives down in Tassie," she said.
"For me it's just about getting that routine back and enjoying day-to-day life."
