Northern Tasmanian Football Umpires Association's Ollie Bennett and North-West Umpires Association's Sam Bridges are the sole Northerners in the group, with boundary umpires Lucas Chamberlain and Jack Marsh and goal umpires Brayden White, Bryce Guy and Xanthea McCarthy all hailing from the South.
Launceston teenager Bennett has officiated the past two TSL grand finals alongside Chamberlain, White and Guy, while Guy and Bridges were invited to join the AFL umpiring academy prepatory program last season.
The group of seven are all but certain to be called up for North Melbourne's two Tasmanian AFLW fixtures, but will also likely get the chance to officiate interstate.
The Kangaroos meet GWS at UTAS Stadium on February 15 and Adelaide at North Hobart Oval on March 7.
