Talking down his batting abilities earlier this week, stand-in Westbury skipper Jonathon Chapman blasted an unbeaten 60 off 63 balls to lead his side to a 60-run victory over South Launceston.

Giving his team the chance at back-to-back Greater Northern Cup wins after breaking a 38-year drought last season, Chapman put on 77 in a fifth-wicket stand with Joel Lloyd (40), who continued his Greater Northern Raiders under-18 form.
Joining his captain at the crease following Oliver Wood's wicket at 4-110, the 18-year-old posted his second-highest A-grade score as the pair frustrated their opponents for just under an hour, skying a Jeremy Jackson delivery to Nathan Carter.

Amassing 60 off the last nine overs through Chapman, Liam Ryan and Hume, Westbury set 7-244 and started their defence in perfect fashion, with Nick Spencer claiming Doug Ryan with the opener's fifth ball.
It didn't get better fast for the Knights, slumping to 5-32 in quick succession as Spencer and Chapman found their rhythm.
Their only solace was that competition heavyweight Nathan Philip remained at the crease, keeping them in the hunt by compiling 80 for the sixth wicket alongside Carter before Hume trapped the latter in front for 22.
Spin twin Alex Kerrison and Dane Anderson combined for the wicket of Philip for 58, just eight runs later before Jeremy Jackson and Danish import Anders Bulow dug deep to put on 32 for the eighth wicket, keeping the slim hopes alive.
The building run rate would eventually become too much for the Knights, requiring over 15 runs an over across the final four, which was rendered null and void when Graham Donaldson was caught and bowled to become Spencer's fourth victim.
The Shamrock talisman would go on to take 4-32 off 8.1 overs, ably assisted by Chapman's 2-10 off six and Hume's 2-25 off his allotted 10.
Westbury will now face Ulverstone in a repeat of last year's grand final on Sunday as the Blackcaps demolished minor premiers Latrobe on the Demons' home turf.
Ulverstone captain and 300-gamer Josh Walmsley certainly led from the front for the victors, scoring 68 of their 9-202 before his side turned around and bowled Latrobe out for 55.
Missing last week's centurion Callan Morse due to Tasmanian indigenous representative duties, the Demons were decimated by Liam Quaile (3-10), Damien DeVries (2-11 off nine) and Jacob Snare (2-1).
