Redemption was sweet for Levi Sclater as the Victorian teenager shot five birdies in a second-round 68 to win the Tasmanian junior masters at Riverside.

Defeated in a playoff by Box Hill's Michael Song at the junior amateurs in Launceston earlier this week, Sclater shot 143 over two rounds to finish a shot clear of New South Wales' Joshuaa Robards.
Tasmanian Dylan Backhouse, who claimed sixth place at the junior amateurs, finished a further three shots back in third.
Prospect Vale's Jarryd Battle (158) in 13th was the next best-placed Tasmanian on a blustery day and was one of three players to eagle the sixth during the afternoon.
Riverside's Isaac Roberts and Royal Hobart's Hunter Gllard finished equal 15th with 159 while Manato Nakatani (sixth, 151) hit two eagles in his second round.

The girls' trophy was taken out by Royal Hobart Golf Club's Hallie Meaburn after a tense playoff with Queensland's Haruhi Nakatani.
Trailing by three shots with two holes to play, Meaburn hit consecutive birdies to finish level with Nakatani on 149.
The granddaughter of star Tasmanian golfer Lindy Goggin then birdied the playoff third hole to claim the title with 2019 champion Mackenzie Wilson and Riverside talent Alexandria Hansen tied for fourth on 155.
Mowbray's Jorjah Bailey was consistent across both rounds to finish on 161 while Ulverstone's Tailah Mowat retired after a first-round 82.
The championships were reduced to 36 holes after Thursday's play was rained off.
