The Scamander Hotel/Motel was officially been renamed to the Scamander Beach Resort last week.
The prominent East Coast hotel was recently purchased by Vision Hotels at the beginning of the year.
Owner and Vision Hotels director Brendon Deeley said the rebrand marked the start of an exciting era for both the hotel and the business in becoming united by the vision of becoming a welcoming community.
"Our operating plan includes initiatives that redefine Scamander Beach Resort's identity, streamlines operations, and aligns our team members to deliver on friendliness, every single time," Mr Deeley said.
"Our core values for creating a welcoming community will be embedded i everything we do, creating positive encounters and everlasting memories."
The full refurbishment of the resort started earlier in January.
The hotel has 60 rooms, inhabits 1.13 hectares and can accommodate two full-sized coach tours.
