On Friday, January 17, the Bushfire Appeal T20 took place at the Hadspen Oval.
Hadspen Cricket Club president Corey Martin said it was a great night, with more than 350 people in attendance.
"All four clubs - Hadspen Cricket Club, Westbury Cricket Club, Meander Valley Football Club and St Pats Football club - should be proud of what they were able to achieve together, raising $23,561.50 for the Red Cross Bushfire appeal," he said.
"The generosity of individuals that donated their time, money and items for auction or to help make the night run free of costs was simply outstanding."
Beginning at 5.30pm, alongside a great game of cricket guests were treated to entertainment, auctions, and a barbecue.
Mr Martin said special mentions went to David Foster for helping out with the live auction; Harrison Humphreys, Parry Property, the Eames family, and Tasland for their donations; Chris Reissig builders for their donation and the barbecue meat; and, all volunteers for donating their time.
"It was a great display of Tasmanian spirit that everyone involved can be proud of," he said.
"We hope the monies raised will go some way in alleviating some heartache many Australians are feeling this summer."
