Several members of the event's organising committee retired last year but at a village meeting in September new members put their hands up to ensure the event would continue for 2020.
Event committee president Howard Rowe said the championship was recognised internationally as the world's largest annual event devoted to racing antique bicycles.

This year's event takes place on Saturday, February 22 between 10am to 4pm. Entry to the event is $12 per person and free for anyone under 16.
