Taking on Queensland, the Tasmanians were dealt with an early 1-0 deficit which they maintained until late in the last when the Maroons scored twice in consecutive minutes.
Staring down the barrel of a barren carnival, Queechy Penguins' Isabella McRobbie found the back of the net in the final minute to settle the score at 3-1.

The Maroons scored in the first three minutes before adding two more in both the third and final quarters.
The side featured Northern players Callum Emms, captain Josh Commins, C-Jay Denman and goalkeeper Bailey Grace.
