The former Mowbray offspinner was comfortably the most tidy Lindisfarne bowler at Bellerive Oval, finishing his four overs with just 1-17.
Clarence looked to have posted a sizeable 6-145 and on the arrival of Freeman, Lindisfarne struggled to keep up with the required rate.

Still needing 58 to win off 34 balls, Freeman smashed his third and sixth balls for six off Roos pair Alex Treanor and Harrison Allanby.
That brought the equation down to just 21 off 16 balls.
Treanor got his revenge, removing Freeman for 21 off 10 to leave the Lightning still requiring 14 off nine.
But a third six then a four off the first ball of the final over had handed Lindisfarne a thrilling two-wicket win.
