A truck full of more than $40,000 worth of donations is due for departure from Tasmania on Friday to help bushfire victims in Mallacoota, Cobargo and Bega.

ADS Civil Contracting owner Stefan Dvorsky birthed the idea and has donated his truck and time to sort, collect and pack the items destined for the mainland.
Mr Dvorsky said his friends the Clarke's were driving the truck over and would hand out the goods themselves at community centres, along with food and gift vouchers.
"I mean it's amazing what people are donating...there's about 160 boxes worth," he said.
"Even three kids gave me their Christmas presents saying I'm giving them to you because people lost everything and I want to give them to those kids."
The donations include food, water, toiletries, first aid supplies, toys, blankets, tents, swags, veterinary supplies, baby needs, clothing, pet needs, gift packs, a carton of beer and back to school items.
A second truck will be filled and taken to the mainland in upcoming weeks.
