Rustic Bakery co-ower Katie Lamprey said she decided to make lamingtons after hearing about all the devastation caused by the fires.
"All could think of was making something Australian ... a lamington is an icon of Australia, something we're known for. Hence we decided on making lamingtons," she said.
"It's the Australian way, everyone wants to do something and for us that's lamingtons."

Ms Lamprey said all money made from the lamingtons would be donated to the Salvation Army's bushfire appeal. Money from the business's tip jar will also be donated to the appeal.
Ms Lamprey recommended that customers call ahead if they're coming from afar to get a lamington as the bakery only makes one tray a day.
"We are so lucky we live in such a fabulous community because everyone's got on board with it," she said.
"People are fabulous, they're buying lamingtons but they're also putting money in the tip jar as well."
