The musical attracted the attention of The Other Palace, an off West End theatre that is one of seven London theatres owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The Other Palace has a development program aimed at discovering and nurturing works that make exciting, new, bold musical theatre. It was impressed by the unusual subject and larger-than-life heroine who was rumoured to be the inspiration behind Barry Humphries' Dame Edna Everage, Ms Kent said.
"We'd love to see the musical given a fully staged production here," she said.
The musical tells the story of iconic Devonport housewife Marjorie Bligh, famed for her sometimes quirky domestic advice.
