On Saturday, they got the batting horribly wrong.
Clarence had reduced the home side to 6-40 nearing the halfway mark of the chase in pursuit of 142 for victory.
"We reflected pretty heavily on our poor batting display yesterday and we came up with some really good plans in regards to consolidating, playing it more like a 50-over match to try to get to 120," coach Andrew Gower said.
"That was sort of a our par score and after losing Miles [Barnard] early the next three consolidated quite nicely."
On Sunday, the bowling was askew to say the least.
Glenorchy had bolted out to 0-59 in just six overs and chased down the five-and-a-half target in just six more.
Skipper Barnard had been forced to keep the field up to contain runs, which exacerbated the run rate and the Magpies just hit though the line and over the circle.
"We just did not execute well early," Gower said.

"Our game plan is always to execute well in the six-over powerplay and to bowl at the stumps to encourage more wicket-taking deliveries.
"But we bowled two sides of the wicket and too short, so they got off to a real flyer."
After being restricted to 8-104 despite Jake Williams hitting a more than a run-a-ball 60 not out, the Raiders reached 6-110 the next day.
Williams again top-scored with 43 off 48 deliveries while schoolboy gun Cooper Anthes stood out with 30 off 32.
It could have been far worse had Melbourne Stars released new speed sensation Haris Rauf from their squad back to Glenorchy.
Gower said it didn't matter terribly much against a Magpies' attack that boasted international quality.
"[David] Moody is a class bowler, [Umair] Butt is a good bowler, Raja the legspinner is too - they've been picked up the PCL in Pakistan, so they know how to play T20 cricket and they just executed things pretty well," he said.
"We know we are going to come up against two or three class bowlers every time we pad up and play the games,"
"Haris is faster than anyone we've faced. It would be a challenge just like it would be to face Riley Meredith."
