Taking on South Australia at Karen Rolton Oval on January 7 and 9, the Tigers could blood two debutants, with Australian all-rounder Nicola Carey and English import Hollie Armitage both included in the squad.
Armitage, who during the WBBL season was called into the Sydney Sixers squad to replace an injured Ellyse Perry, has started the season off with a bang for South Hobart-Sandy Bay in Cricket Tasmania's Premier League competition and has been rewarded with selection.

Coached by Saliann Briggs and assisted by Dan Marsh, the Tigers come into the double-header sitting on the bottom of the WNCL table after two losses before the Big Bash season.
Having lost all 10 wickets in clashes against Western Australia and Queensland back in September, the Tasmanian unit will have to find a way to minimise dismissals against the South Australians, who also sit winless after their two match-ups.
Both matches get underway at 10.30am Tastime.
Full Squad
Brooke Hepburn (Captain), Corinne Hall (Vice Captain), Hollie Armitage, Samantha Bates, Nicola Carey, Stefanie Daffara, Erin Fazackerley, Emma Flint (nee Thompson), Maisy Gibson, Emma Manix-Geeves, Sasha Moloney, Meg Phillips, Belinda Vakarewa
