The momentum gained from the Greater Northern Raiders' breakthrough win before Christmas has dulled somewhat with confirmation that Anish Paraam won't be available for the club for the rest of the summer.

Raiders coach Andrew Gower confirmed the Devonport all-rounder has returned home to Singapore due to family reasons.
"What he brings to the table is unreal, with just his leadership and his batting and bowling and he will be a huge loss, and we just need to go out there and find another batter to compliment Hayesy (Brodie Hayes) when we are playing in the longer format,'' Gower said on Thursday.
"But this is an opportunity for someone to stick their hand up in club level in the coming weeks."
Despite the loss of Paraam, Gower was feeling confident ahead of weekend T20 games against Clarence and Glenorchy at the resurfaced UTAS Stadium as his side looks to build on their 23-run win over South Hobart-Sandy Bay on December 21.
"It just builds belief for the whole group, as we've done a lot of hard work since July and I think it just gives us that belief that we are on the right track and we are doing the right things,'' he said.
"We realise now, especially Miles (captain Miles Barnard) and myself, that we have that realisation that we can build that pressure and throw it back on to these teams."
Paraam is one of four changes for the Raiders, with Alistair Taylor heading back to Launceston, Jono Chapman unavailable and Rhys French out with an ankle injury, with Cooper Anthes, Ben Spinks, Brandon King and Lachie Newland in.
Saturday's game against Clarence will be at 11am, with Sunday's clash with Glenorchy at 2.30pm.
