Yet to show his full potential in purple, the South African international has scored 48 runs across his four matches but is wary of the competition's length.
"Obviously we started pretty well and the last game didn't help us too much, but we still have 10 games and there is a lot of time in this competition," Miller said.

"I think we are playing really, really good cricket and I think the last game was a little bit of a throw of the dice, just playing the conditions that we got, which was on and off, on and off and was a little bit disruptive.
"I think we need to forget about that one and move on and we are playing really good cricket other than that."
Set to do battle with the languishing Heat at Bellerive Oval, the Hurricanes have named an unchanged 13-man squad from their Stars defeat in Launceston with Scott Boland still a chance to debut.
Despite their opponent's slow start to the season, Miller isn't putting a line through the aggressive Heat, who gain countryman AB De Villiers on January 14, a signing he says is "great to have" in the competition.
"Every game is actually competitive and every team is very strong, so we need to prepare and be the best that we can for tomorrow.
"It is a long competition and there are still 10 games to go and with these types of competitions you have to take it one game at a time, and they will be desperate and we really want to win, so it is going to be a good competition."
