A man who allegedly robbed Mood Food at Grand Central with scissors, and attempted climb out of the court dock, has been remanded in custody.

Simon Peter Frosi, 32, of no fixed address, appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Saturday in an out of hours session.
When he appeared he told the court he was "done with this police academy training exercise", and attempted to climb out of the dock.
He has been charged with armed robbery for the incident that occurred about 10 pm on Friday, December 27.

Mr Frosi allegedly entered the Wellington Street store, told the cashier he needed some "currency" and was given a few hundred dollars.
He had no disguise covering his face and left the store on foot. No one was harmed during the incident.
He was identified on CCTV.
When police arrested him at an Elizabeth Street property where he had been squatting later that evening, Mr Frosi allegedly said "is this because of the thing at Mood Food tonight".
During a police interview, the man said he had spent the money on drugs.
He did not enter a plea and was remanded to reappear on December 30.
