The line was out the door and down the street on December 23, with the business supplying water for customers in the heat.
In other news:
Kyeema co-owner Kristy Langford said she took over the business from her parents with her husband earlier in the year.
"It usually is pretty busy on the 24th [of December] but not normally on the 23rd ... I guess it depends on what day of the week it falls," she said.
"Last year, the 23rd was a Sunday so we didn't have that many customers come through."
This will be Ms Langford's 18th Christmas at the seafood business.

"They should come in before lunchtime, that's when we start selling out of the mid-size crays and oysters," she said.
"Oysters prawns and crays are our biggest selling items."
