Launched midway through this year, the Brett Godfrey-led Taskforce set out to make a sustainable business case for a standalone Tasmanian AFL team.
The Tasmanian government announced it had received the Taskforce's findings shortly before noon on Friday, with Acting Premier Jeremy Rockliff saying it was "high time" Tasmania was represented in the national code.
TIME TO DECIDE:
"The Taskforce has delivered a comprehensive document, which the government will now take the appropriate time to consider," Rockliff said.
"It is high time Tasmania had an AFL and AFLW team of its own and we look forward to reviewing the business case and communicating the details and next steps."
The Taskforce's United We stand campaign attracted more than 65,000 signatures since launching on August 30, and passed its 50,000 target in early October.
