The Country Club Tasmania's staff community fund's Charlie the bear, accompanied by CCT employee/stormtrooper Lee Moore and his sidekick R2-D2 toured the ward giving away gifts.
Mr Moore said his employer had generously assisted with funds to purchase the toys for the young patients.

CCT's staff community fund member Sean Purdon said the organisation had donated about $600 worth of gifts.
"This year were approached by someone at the LGH I believe to see if we wanted to donate some money to buy some toys and things for the sick kids," he said.
"It's all raised from various things at the Country Club."
