"Just back on track and ready for a great 2020 until yet another bike crash."
Earle, whose wife Kat is pregnant with their second child, said he collided with a youth on a bike track and was grateful for his helmet preventing more serious injuries.
"Well ready for 2019 to be over and done with," added Earle who has raced in Taiwan, France, Spain, Italy, USA, Belgium, Canada and Croatia this season.
Tassie trio
Three Tasmanians have been named in Australian teams for upcoming races.
TIS Racing teammates Nicole Frain, of Launceston, and Devonport's Anya Louw will both race the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and Race Torquay while Hobart's Scott Bowden (TeamBridgelane) will also tackle the Great Ocean Road.
Despite suffering a broken collarbone in a crash in Belgium, Frain has enjoyed a meteoric rise since switching from triathlon and has signed to ride with the Sydney University Women's Team in 2020.
She is the reigning senior women's state road champion and finished fifth in the Tour of Tasmania and sixth in the elite women's Stan Siejka Criterium.
