The pair have both been named in squads for Basketball Australia's four-day national performance camp and will travel to the sport's centre of excellence in Canberra on January 22.
Riverside High School student Deans, who will play with North-West Thunder in NBL1 this year, is fresh from helping Launceston Lightning to its maiden state league crown.
Former St Patrick's College student Wise is currently on a CoE scholarship at the AIS.
Both represented Australia at Oceania under-16 basketball championships in 2018.
The 2020 national performance camp will include four days of intensive on-court sessions and education workshops, as well as participation in the Basketball ACT Canberra Classic.
Athletes who were born in 2003 and 2004 have been selected from seven states and territories and will be coached by the centre of excellence coaches, plus a panel from the national performance program coaching network.
Centre of excellence men's head coach Adam Caporn will lead the men's camp, with WNBL life member and COE women's head coach Kristen Veal at the helm of the women's camp.
