The possibility of AFL curtain-raiser matches on UTAS Stadium provides an exciting time for the NTFA with the league revealing its 2020 fixtures on Tuesday.
In talks with Hawthorn to make the idea a possibility, the fixture also accommodates for the AFL matches, with a competition-wide bye on Anzac Day enabling players to attend the Hawks' clash with West Coast.
Fresh off a successful 2019 campaign, the NTFAW competition has had its roster extended to 14 matches, with the grand final to coincide with division one's big day.
Eight Friday night games have been included in the women's roster, with two byes scheduled for the July school holiday period in women's and under-18 competitions - allowing players to also view Hawthorn vs North Melbourne on July 11.
