Longford Rotary Club will bring the Christmas cheer to the Village Green on Friday along with a new feature this year.

Rotarian Donna Franklin said the party had been running for about eight years but it was the first year a fair had been added.
"It's our thank you to the town for supporting us through the year," she said.
"We wanted to try something different, all the stall holders are small companies and it lets people know who they are and what they're doing."

Santa will arrive at 6pm on a firetruck to greet the community and open the town's letters to Santa, before church carols get underway.
The event is from 4pm to 7.30pm with a free rotary barbecue, alongside stalls and food vans.
