The festive season has well and truly arrived in the North-East, with a "fabulous" Dorset Christmas Celebration "filled with festive cheer" at the weekend, the Rotary Club of Scottsdale said.

Families enjoyed activities and entertainment, the Christmas parade, and perfect weather.
Meanwhile, Christmas carols will be held in Bridport on December 22, hosted by the Bridport Lions Club.
In true Aussie Christmas style there will be a barbecue, as well as scallops prepared by the Surf Life Saving Club, and Cheesecake Baculo.
Santa will visit at 6.30pm, and singing will begin at 7.30pm: bring along a picnic blanket and chairs to enjoy the festivities in comfort.
Christmas Stocking raffle tickets are on sale at Impressions, Main Street, Bridport.
