A woman fell more than 15 metres at a rock climbing site near the Cataract Gorge's zig zag track on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old woman lost her footing before she fell 20 metres down into the gorge.
More than 20 rescuers were involved in the rescue effort, as they abseiled down to her or were boated in to access her on rocks near the Gorge's water line.
