More than 20 rescuers were involved in the rescue effort, as they abseiled down to her or were boated in to access her on rocks near the Gorge's water line.

Rescuers took two hours to complete the rescue, before she was strapped onto a backboard, put in a surf lifesaving boat and taken to an awaiting ambulance at the Tamar Yacht Club.
She was rushed to the Launceston General Hospital for treatment for a fractured foot and hip.
She was in a stable condition at the LGH overnight and is expected to make a full recovery.
