Pair plead not guilty to slavery charge
A Launceston man, 52, and woman, 47, charged with human trafficking and possessing a slave have pleaded not guilty.

It's alleged the pair, who cannot be named for legal reasons, enslaved a woman from August 3, 2017 until February 2019.
They are each charged with one count of trafficking and one count of possessing a slave.
The pair appeared in the Launceston Magistrates on Friday and will appear in the Supreme Court on February 3, 2020.
