Now they've added another string to their bow - recruiting former Launceston midfielder Danika Corcoran to join their ranks.
Returning from Victoria where she worked as a culture development officer in an aboriginal community, the 23-year-old was lured to the Bulldogs by her 2017 TSLW premiership captain, Kate Child.

"I had a couple of friends over there and Kate got in contact with me to come over and have a kick," Corcoran said.
Attracted to the casual nature of the competition, the fresh face also played alongside Ash Bowen and competition leading goal-kicker, Kiara Foley at the Blues, making the transition easier.
"They're a great bunch of girls. Last year they had a really good season and they've still got a good team.
"I've been to a couple of training sessions and they've been really welcoming."
Amassing 64 games over seven seasons at Launceston, the self-described fast-paced midfielder adds a wealth of experience to the Bulldogs' line-up, something coach Adrian Dean is certainly looking to utilise.
"It's fantastic to have someone with significant TSLW experience [join our club] and I'm looking forward to having her join our midfield next year and be a really strong leader among that group," Dean said.
"I think she'll bring some real class and some great skills and a real determination to win the contested ball as well."
Kicking off pre-season training two weeks ago on Thursday nights, Dean says the side is in a good position for its 2020 season with premiership players returning for more but new faces like Corcoran always welcome.
