More than 100 performers will take to the stage and peer through the vines as The Secret Garden comes to the Princess Theatre.

The classic children's novel is being performed by students from Launceston's Ballet and Dance Arts Tasmania.
For 13-year-old Maisie Howard, the show is an opportunity to showcase her skills on stage, as she takes on the character of Mary Lennox.
"I've loved learning the role," Maisie said.
"It's taken many hours of hard work but I've loved every minute of it."

Frances Hodgson Burnett's story centres on Mary's relationship with her cousin Colin, played by Zoe Gillow, and uses the garden as a symbol of rejuvenation in both of their lives.
Ballet & Dance Arts Tasmania principal, Jacquelyne France-Marsden, said the Mann Street school has been hosting an annual concert for over 20 years.
"We spend most of the year preparing for their ballet exams, so when we come to concert time the kids just love it," Ms France-Marsden said.
"It's a real celebration of all their hard work and it's a fun way to cap off a full on year."
The story allows for students from the age of three involved in the production.
The Secret Garden will be performed on Saturday, December 14, at 2pm at the Princess Theatre Launceston.
