The TFS session is about providing people with information about bushfire survival planning and helping give the community the information to empower their decision making.
You can create your own TFS Bushfire Survival Plan checklist, develop a survival plan to leaving your home or the area early or a plan to stay and defend your property.

TFS recommends you should not plan to defend your home if the Fire Danger Rating exceeds catastrophic regardless of any preparations unless firefighters have assessed your home as defendable.
The Meander Valley community is invited to attend, with the session beginning at 6pm and running until 7.30pm.
The information session will be held at Rotary Pavilion on Alveston Drive, Deloraine.
