Works from renowned artists will be on the block at Woolmers Estate tomorrow, in its annual art auction.
Business administration manager Sue-Ellen Groer said the long-running event would be held in a snazzy new venue: the on-site $5.3 million Nigel Peck Centre, opened last year.
"The exhibition will for the first time, not be limited to the various rooms of Woolmers Cottage, but will this year benefit by taking advantage of the space offered by the two expansive galleries," she said.
"This year's exhibition will gently challenge and inspire, leaving both deep and exciting thoughts in the viewer's mind."
The Cocktail Party and Auction is on Friday, November 29, from 6.30pm to 8pm, $35, with a live and silent auction. The exhibition of works runs until January 16.
