Supporting Northern Tasmanian charities - Launceston City Mission, The Salvation Army, The Benevolent Society and St Vincent de Paul - last year's Empty Stocking Appeal raised more than $88,000.
This year we aim to raise $90,000.
As of Friday morning, funds raised are sitting at $23,765.70.
Donations can be made at The Examiner office on Cimitiere Street, or an business or group with an appeal tin.
