Riverside Post, News and Lotto newsagency is hoping customers dig deep to help those stuggling this Christmas through The Examiner's Empty Stocking Appeal.

Owner Amanda Gibson said the business had been supporting the annual appeal for the past three and a half years she's owned it.
"For us, the Empty Stocking Appeal stands as a reminder that not everyone is as lucky as us over the holidays," she said.
In other news:
"The appeal is what Christmas is all about.
"Our year's had its ups and downs but all in all it's been a good year and we'd like to support those whose year's have been worse."
The Empty Stocking Appeal annually raises money for four Northern charities: the Salvation Army, Launceston City Mission, Launceston Benevolent Society and St Vincent de Paul.
