Playing away from home for the first time this season, the Shamrocks ripped through a fragile Mountaineers batting line-up with Nick Spencer (4-27), Kieren Hume (3-20) and Matthew Battle (2-7 off 6.1 overs) the pick of the bowlers.
The home side lost 5-18 after making it to 0-33 and looked in danger of being bowled out for two figures until a 10th wicket stand of 45 pushed the target to 144.
Despite losing Dane Anderson early, the Shamrocks never looked in danger as captain Dan Murfet (53*) and Jono Chapman (50*) raised their bats for the first time this season.
Both hit four fours and a six in their knocks as the visitors secured a seven-wicket victory in the 38th over.

A 96-run ninth-wicket stand ruined LAUNCESTON's hopes of back-to-back victories as Josh Walmsley led Ulverstone to its first win since round three.
In dire straits at 8-92 after some sublime fast bowling from Jakeb Morris (3-13 off nine), the Black Caps turned the game through Walmsley (82*) and a defiant knock from Will Dau (29 off 36).
Launceston lost its two openers inside three overs in pursuit of 9-188 and never got going thereafter.
Ben Humphrey made a patient 35 to keep his side in the running but struggled to find partners as the Lions fell to 139 all out.
Jason Snare, Matt Talbot and Coby Walsmley all took two wickets apiece.

MOWBRAY tasted a 71-run defeat after a stellar 93 from keeper James Odgers powered Burnie to 9-223.
The Hurricanes reached 3-202 before a string of late wickets saw Eagles skipper James Storay (4-45) and Blake Cassidy (3-41) take their best hauls of the season.
With former opener John LeFevre absent the Eagles needed someone to stand up and Will Dakin responded with a career-best 44 of 73.
But while five of his teammates made double figures, no one was able to notch the big score needed to secure Mowbray's first win.
In the late game, DEVONPORT cruised to an easy bonus-point win over Riverside.
The Orions set an ominous 7-277 after Matthew Bennett lit up the last 10 overs with 60 not out off 37, with Tyler Dell (72) and Anish Paraam (60) also dominant.
The Blues' hopes took a huge blow early when Sam O'Mahony collected dangermen Kirk Thompson and Peter New cheaply, leaving young gun Cooper Anthes (64) to anchor the innings with his maiden A-grade 50.
But a late slump of 6-24 saw the Blues bowled out for 148 in the 40th over.
SOUTH LAUNCESTON's clash with Latrobe was called off without a ball bowled.
