Falls Festival may be featuring the likes of household music acts Halsey, Peking Duk, Lewis Capaldi and Vampire Weekend to name a few, but there is a number of prominent comedy acts joining the lineup too.

Cameron James will MC the Falls Comedy Club in Marion Bay packed with comics Rhys Nicholson, Steph Tisdell, Daniel Towns, twin duo Stevenson Brothers and Gen Fricker over the three-day event.
Nicholson won the Best Newcomer award at the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2012 and has gone on to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala alongside numerous other accolades.
He also was one of the opening acts for US comic Conan O'Brien's Australian tour, has filmed a set for the BBC and performed a set for US television on the Conan Show.
Rising star Tisdell also joins the lineup after she won the Deadly Funny National Grand Final, she has toured Australia, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the SCF and the MICF.
Falls also announced the Tasmanian leg of the event will feature a Smalls Festival section perfect for families and children to get creative with a number of activities including jumping castles, face painting, bubble zones and rope mazes.
Additionally there will also be imagination stations, arts and crafts, live graffiti walls, pet rock making, floral pieces, ninja challenges and other workshops.
Falls takes place in Tasmania from December 29 - 31, with special guests at the Marion Bay event including Illy, Wolfmother, Luca Brasi, Alex Lahey, Dena Amy, Kinder, Bugs, Kat Edwards and Wombat.
