The 16-year-old from Tasmania Golf Club will have stiff competition from Tasmanian team member and former champion Sarah Johnstone, of Ulverstone.
Entries for the 107th staging of Tasmania's most esteemed amateur event have seen 72 competitors chasing the prestigious titles.
Golf Australia-Tasmanian operations manager Stuart Eaton said Mowbray's James Pyke and two-time champion Mark Schulze will start firm favourites for the men's title.
"Other Tasmanians to look out for include Royal Hobart's Joey Bower, Tasmania's Dylan Backhouse and Launceston's Mitch Van Noord," Eaton said.
"Prospect Vale's young guns Jack Blair and Ronan Filgate will also be out to prove their mettle."
Eaton said William Florimo, a plus-four handicapper from Gailes Golf Club in Queensland, is one of 13 interstate competitors contesting the event.
"Other competitors keen to capture Tasmania's top prize include Reid Brown, from New South Wales, and David Shimmin, of Victoria."
"In the women's event, challenges are also expected from Mowbray's Jorjah Bailey and Prospect Vale's Lily Caelli who represent the future of women's golf in Tasmania.

The event concludes next Monday with two 36-hole finals.
