Stacey Norton-Smith hit a commanding 79 not out off 67 deliveries that included eight fours and a six, piloting Launceston towards a huge 3-131 in the Twenty20 clash.
It was the second highest score of the female summer after veteran captain Belinda Wegman belted an unbeaten 88 off 55 for South Launceston that forced Devonport to better the 3-153 total.
Riverside had looked to be off to a solid start, moving to 1-29 in the seventh over.
Charlotte Layton was soon introduced into the attack and changed things dramatically, removing three of the top-five batters before the rest of the order floundered.
Sara Wilkin was the only Blues batter that took it up to the Lions with a top-score 16.
Layton finished the match with 3-12 in 18 balls.
