The St Helens Surf Angling Club donated $1000 to Medea Park Residential Care.
Club president Vaughan Oldham thanked the club's sponsors, Wilson Tackle and Simano, the club's supporters, committee members, and dedicated fishing friends.
"It is pleasing to be able to hold our events and be able to put something back into our local community," Mr Oldham said.
"Our club has been able to make considerable donations to many worthy local recipients over many years."
Medea Park has more than 50 residents
The park's aim is for residents to feel safe, secure, relaxed, and at home. It also helps residents to enjoy, to the best of their ability, the later years of their lives.
