A 38-year-old Newstead man and a 26-year-old Mowbray woman were charged on Thursday night after being taken into custody during a number of simultaneous raids on Wednesday.
The Greenwood Bar and Empire 44 Bar & Nightclub were among the properties and venues searched as part of the police sting.

The man man will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Friday, facing charges of trafficking controlled substance, possess controlled drug, dealing in property suspected to be from the proceeds of crime, possess firearm part for which a license cannot be issued - a taser and possess firearm in contravention of a firearm prohibition order.
The woman was charged with dealing in property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
She was bailed to appear in Launceston Magistrates Court on January 8.
