The Tasmania Fire Service was called to the blaze on Hakea Grove last night about 11pm.
A TFS spokesperson this morning said the fire had been deemed accidental.
"They had it under control in 15 minutes of arrival," they said.
"No injuries were reported."
In other news:
Two crews from the Rocherlea TFS branch and one crew from the Launceston branch responded to the shed fire.
